Recalls?

Recalls?
Is there a recall on the alternator on a 2002 CLK 430?I had mine replaced last year when it crapped out so if there is , I'll be hittin up the dealership soon for a nice reimburstment...........Also what other recalls r their if any on this car?I would like to drop it off and get everything done at once ....my cat is also startin to rattle a lil bit . I am startin to feel as if my car is slowly falling apart ...this sucks. Its like having a really hot girlfriend....and she treats u terribly ..lol

There is a recall for the Alternator. Have the dealer check you VIN#. If there is a recall like on mine, it will show up as Alternator/Regulator. My driverside catalytic converter was rattling so the dealer replaced under warranty. I can't believe that the part was going to cost $2500 and $400 labor for install.

My dealer is saying that the recall is only on the voltage regulator ..........Even if the recall was on the voltage reguator......wouldnt that be the reason the alternator blew out??
