Bent Rim repair...

So one of my front rims is bent and I want to get it straightened. Currently I have 18's, but I have the OEM 17" wheels as well. Does anyone know if I can take off the one bent 18" rim for repair, and use the 17" OEM as a "spare" for a few days? Or will this damage something??

Ideally all wheels and tires must be same. But I did it many times with my cars (including Mers) and nothing happened.

Just change both sides if you are not sure. 18" is 0.5" bigger in diameter.
