So I left work early today and I'm driving home.
Those of you who live in the Northern Virginia area know that today was a really beautiful day (especially for Blackbenzz since this weekend's one day closer) It was 70 or so degrees, clear skies and a little breeze - plenty of dense cold air around for internal combusting. So I'm enjoying my little afternoon drive.
Then I see this VW parked on the side of the road with this 50 or so year old lady sitting next to it,
on the ground,
tire iron in hand,
looking like she really had no idea about how to even start thinking about changing her front flat as a pancake tire.
For an instant it crossed my mind to stop - not because she was a "babe in distress" either, she was far from it - but I just kept driving.
Then I started to feel bad - then I thought no way, I'm in my suit and sh*t and do I really want to get fu*kin dirty and all that (what a wuss I am) - but the guilt prevailed and I U-turned to head back and help. Next thing you know, I'm stopped at the light right before where the flat lady's sitting and BAM
- I'm hit from behind by a rusty green Dodge minivan. F U C K !

So bottom line is that my bumper cover's cracked and the styrofoam impact absorber that's underneath is somewhat deformed and in case there's any doubt about who's responsible, there's a rectangular impression of the minivan's license plate frame on my rear bumper.
Oh well, no one got hurt and in the end, life goes on and it's just a car
right???
P.S. its not just a car Its a Benz!!!!!

Glad you're ok man. And you're right, its just a car. Be thankful you didn't get hit in the front where the Kleeman is. Did you end up helping her?

Thanks for the suggestions - I'll def. be open to some more advice once I know how much the check will be for - and Benzz, your local guy sounds good.
No - I didn't end up helping her... she was probably Roger Penske's wife and knew exactly what to do...
