Lowering the car ourself?

i was just wondering if thats do-able because we've lowered a few cars in my friends garage cus he has all the power tools. (many hondas, acuras and an e36 m3) so i was just wondering if its do-able. Also, for replacing the spring pads do we have to take the whole suspension apart? im lookin to drop my car on the h&r cupkit + #1 springpads all around but just in case it was too low i was just wondering if its easy to replace the pads.

also if anyone has a set of the h&r cupkits sittin around or knows anyone with them would they let me know? thanks alot
