how to...

i need to take off my mirror glass on my 2000 clk 430 so i can get to the bulbs in the side mirror. has anyone done this? or know how to do it?

2001 CLK320 Cabrio

Move the mirror to face down as far as possible. You will see a wire retaining clip. Just remove the clip and pull the mirror off.

However, I believe you change the bulbs by removing the plastic lens.

Is there a special trick to getting the mirror back on? Mine came lose and am having a tough time getting it reconnected. Thanks in advance!
