Incredibly annoying whining sound!
Does anyone's vents or heater whatever make a really bad whining sound? Mine does. I just wanted to know if this is a common problem, and or how to fix it! I'll turn on the heat and then the higher i turn it on, the louder and whinier it gets! Its like a high pitched whirring whineeeeee... eek!

Mine whines under the hood when I put my foot on the gas ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
.............no, ........no it doesn't I'm just dreaming.
whining is not common in the vents. these cars are quiet enough to hear a pin drop inside when they are correct and maintained. find it and fix it.

Oops, didn't know you were female. See, the header simply read "Incredibly annoying whining sound!". My suggestion was that the writer had spent time with my significant other thereby becoming incredibly annoyed by the whining sound, a painful din indeed but alas, I've killed it.
I think you should just hunt down the sound with the blower going, might just need some lube.
