HELP - All SPEAKERS stopped working except 1 front one
Hi, I have a CLK 2000 and all the sudden im not getting any sound except from the front left speaker and some bass from the back... what can the problem be and how can i fix it... i dont have the few hundred dollars that mbz is going to charge me just to tell me what the problem is. thank you in advance, hoping I can fix this problem myself.

I had an ML w/ an internal fuse in the bose unit. When I took the unit out and took off the aluminum covering, there is a 3A fuse. But my radio wouldn't come on or anything. This doesn't sound like that fuse, but there ARE strange fuse locations. Good luck!

Bose Amplifier
These cars have a multi-channel Bose amplifier - it might be a problem with that unit. The CLK's have 8 speaker systems (two of which are the subwoofers in the rear shelf).
This is most likely housed in a 1-chassis amplifier module - may be mounted in the side walls in the trunk area (behind carpeted side covers) or under the trunk floor cover area.
Probably the thing to do is follow the wiring for the rear shelf subs to see where that leads to - and hopefully find where the amplifier is.
I haven't had that symptom, so I don't have an answer for why yours has this symptom. Bose amp failures have happened in various brands as I recall.
