LA Peeps: iPod Integration Tester Needed
If you are in the Los Angeles area, let me know if you are interested in testing an iPod aftermarket integration kit for a 98-02 CLK with fiber optic CD changer. PM me if interested and I'll get you in touch with the right people. The cost is approximately $325 for the unit and this is refundable if it doesn't work.
Basic setup is this: iPod integration kit replaces your fiber optic trunk CD changer. You can use your steering wheel or headunit controls to change the tracks. Functions identically to your CD changer without the hassle.

Once the kit is tested and they move it into retail production I will post back on the site. However, this may be a while - I had been waiting almost a year before I got the beta kit and there are a few kinks to work out...
