looking in all the wrong places
I had the unfortuanate luxury of having my city light burn out. So i think this is a great opportunity to do away with the "yellow" lights in the front. So i hit the local parts store in search of the H6W light bulbs. after going to all the usual suspects with no luck i go to a smaller non chain parts store where the guy takes the bulb from me and comes back with a off brand simular light same voltage and we install it. It looks like a flashlight with dead batteries. I find online that phillips makes a cool blue H6W but its sold primarily in england it appears. I look on ebay all the auctions are from you guessed it the UK.
I found that Hoen has a site where they claim to have the only hid equivelent that wont melt your wire harness and no place to order from. Im not going to hack the harness up to do led lights and im not paying 10 bucks a bulb from the stealer. anyone know where to get these lights in an upgrade?
somewhat off topic - i left the side parking light on because the street lamp was totally out on the street and 3 people stopped and knocked on the door to say my lights were on. ho hum
