Sale/Trade 17" AMG Aero II Monoblock Rims+Tires
Want to put 18" or 19" on my CLK55, therefor need to sell my 17".
Sell or trade. If you have 18 or 19 AMG, we can do a trade + $.
Tires are Bridgestone Potenza and still have plenty of thread.
Asking $1200

Wel, trying to sell the car but look like it will be slow. So looking to sell the rims so I can replace it with a larger one, because I still like this car very much.

Very cheap for rim repair...
$60 each sounds very low, at least by Northern California standards.
When I put new tires on my CLK55 the tire shop screwed up both rear rims and had to pay for repairs by a local rim repair shop (WheelTechniques in Campbell, California). That was $170 each, and I presume the tire shop got a trade discount.
Two weeks after that I seriously trashed one rear myself, taking a piece out of the tire and rim and seriuosly bending the rim (its a long story...). I was sure I was looking at $349 minimum for a new rim, but WheelTechniques fixed the rim for $225.
WheelTechniques may not be the cheapest place around, but they put out work that looks like OEM again. I have heard that some places will do a simple polish and not even replace the clear coat, but that that only looks good for a while and then looks real bad, i.e., it is only something to do if you are selling the car.
Anyway, my $0.02.
