Red Calipers AMG

Anyone know why the AMG calipers on the CL55 are NOT red? They put red ones on the ML55!!! Why not the CLK 55? Has anyone painted their CLK55 calipers? If so, any pictures? Also, what is the BEST brand paint made for this purpose.
Thanks

Dave

Only the ML55 comes with red calipers. No other AMG vehicle comes with them. The C32 has the nice AMG branded silver/black calipers however.

No - I paid premium for the AMG and love it w/AMG monoblocks, which hide the calipers anyway.

On second thought, red & green this week and red/white & blue for 2002! - That is a something to ponder. (humor)

I don't have a picture, however, I had my calipers painted red. They were ceramic baked. Those cheap caliper spray paints out there aren't so good. I think it looks awesome.

How much did it cost you to get it ceramic baked? I was thinking of doing it but I figured it would cost to much becuase I would have to remove the brake callpers which is a time consuming process... am I right or wrong about this? How much did the total thing cost you? How are they holding up?
