Dead on the left..

Ok so everything is fine using my Creative player and I run in the store, toss it in the glove box. Come back out and the unit comes on but only sound out of the right side. So I think the jack is loose from moving it in the glove box but no dice both are solid. I then switch it to radio, and CD still just the right. I shut the unit off and wait then back on and same. Any suggestions as to what it might be? both front and rear on the left are dead.

02 CLK with Nav system and Bose system. ( need any other info?)

Thanks!

funny thing.....same exact thing happened to me today. My stereo was playing perfectly on all speakers. I parked the car, got out, got back in about 15 minutes later and the left front and rear speakers were not playing.

All I did was power the command off, and powered it back on, and everything went back to normal =)

This has happened to me twice in the 2 years I've owned the car (I have the nav too btw). Problem went away the next time I started the car up though (can't remember if I let it sit for a while before doing it again though). It definitely did not last to the next day.

Apparently when you turn the car on, the computer initializes all the electronics in the car and once in a blue moon the initiation process "skips a beat" so to speak and you end up with no sound from one side of your car.
