They both look like the right product. I'd use either one.

Check engine light came on and care started to shudder a bit. I found this thread and cleaned the MAF as described. The shudder seems to be gone, but the Check Engine Light is still on.

Might go off in a few ignition on/off cycles.
I have a multiplexer, so I clear my own codes.

That is exactly what happened. Looks like the MAF clean was the right thing to do, and after the third cold start, the CEL went off for good.

Thanks for this thread!

Great Help!

Used the directions in this thread to clean the MAF on my '98 E55

No CEL on the dash, but car cutting out right after cold start, then restarting and running fine

Don't think I've fixed my problem, but the job was done easily using Pancho's tips

I used Google Chrome so the pics appeared really tiny but when I clicked on them the were shown at higher resolution and I was able to see what to do!

Thanks again!

I'm going to order a replacement. But which one?! They go from Bosch at $230 all the way to "Replacement" brand at $32.

Duralast?
Delphi?
Cardone?
