02 CLK 430 .... is this worth it?
Hello,
I am going to look at the following vehicle tomorrow ( http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ag=1&cardist=8 ). Would anyone mind running a carfax on this number ? : WDBLJ70G82T120192
The price appears too good to be true. If it is accurate, I do believe I will be picking this up. My family has had pretty good luck with Benz's, although all have been pre 1992 aside from a 2000 208 430 Cabriolet. Any suggestions/comments? I am already familiar with the common weak elements of these cars (rust, spring perch on the 210s, etc), and have been looking for one of the last model years (hopefully MB worked out all of the big kinks by then). Could anyone provide me with any warning signs info, or a carfax on that VIN?

Hey, that car is in Arlington (VA) over by my favorite chicken joint, El Pollo Rico. Watch out for them dealers over that way man!

ehhh... I was kinda worried about it considering the area... Anywhere they refer to chicken as pollo... it makes me think twice. I don't mind spanish speaking countries, but when i am in NoVa, and start to see flags from countries south of mexico, i start reconsidering my opinions of the area.. Last thing I need is a salvage title Benz....

2005 E55, 2004 E55(sold), 2001 Viper GTS, 2006 Viper VOI9, 1994 ZR-1 Corvette 2009 Viper ACR,
not really too good to be true. Pretty good considering the mileage though These CLk's are dropping fast... I have seen low mileage (40-50k) 2002 CLK430's for in the teens(18-19k area)
