About 2-3 months ago I noticed that when my car(2001/320) was idling the engine was making an unusual ticking noise. When I took the car to the dealer he said that all the cars make that noise. I insisted that he have it check and when I returned to get my car I was told that I had to have some piston rings repairs done to the car. I'm now hearing the same noise again. This is getting annoying having to take this car to the shop every other month. If it's not the fog lights, it's the motor in the window. This is my first MB and it's making a lasting impression. Has anyone else had similar problems and any suggestions?
