What are the speaker sizes in CLK?

6 1/2" in the inner part of door
1" tweeters on top (at the side mirrors)
4" (useless speakers) at the outter part of the door - fires directly into your seatback, take them out if you plan to upgrade your system
6 1/2" in the rear deck, behind the backseats
you have an amplifier in the trunk bay, left side (driver side). you'll have to remove the trunk liner on the side to access this.

Thanks for the reply mmgrad, but are you sure about the sizes that you mentioned? I ask this because I measured the diameter of the speakers with ruler this morning 
and it turned out to be 6", 4 1/2" and 1" instead of 6 1/2", 4" and 1". Thank you.

thats what i bought for my car... i don't think they changed over the model years.
measuring the outside may not be very accurate as those are just cosmetics, just to hide the speakers.
if you are still a little skeptical about the size, go to a respectable audio shop, and ask them what speakers would fit in your ride.
they should have a reference book and that will help you find the info you need. although, i'm pretty sure the sizes haven't changed from '98-'02

this is all true... i installed a mb quart three way component system with 6.5, 4, and 1 inch speakers and replace the rear deck with mb quart coaxials... everything fit into the stock locations without any modifications.
