Gas Cap not fitting
wusup everybody after filling up gas i tried closing my gas cap and for some reason it will not tighten actually it seems like it doesnt even fit anymore anybody ever had this happen before? I searched and couldn't find anything. thanks

I had something like that happen. What it ended up being is the black plastic ring around the outside had not twisted correctly and was stopping me from putting the cap on properly. Mess with that and see if it helps.

This has happend to me also, you need to line up those two notches in the proper section, press down firmly since the springs pretty strong and try turning it. Use a flathead screw driver, pliers, etc.

It just happen to me yesterday. I took it out and good thing I have an old t-shirt in the trunk and plug it in replace of the gas cap to prevent check engine light. I fix the gas cap at work and put it back in.
So, when you take out the gas cap you have to twist it all the way to prevent this from happening.
