Dashboard Color?
Hi there,
Does anyone know the color name of the dark part of this dash?
I think it must be the most common color combination for the CLK, but I can't find the info anywhere.

Your interior color
That interior color is called Ash in N. American market, also known as Orion Gray in German market cars.
There's a numeric color code for the interior. Your paint code is #744 Brilliant Silver Metallic and the standard leather interior colors available would have been Charcoal or Ash. Oyster was available as an extra cost option.
there's a metal body tag attached to the top of the radiator support - open the bonnet it will be the embossed tag near where the latch engages.
On the far left column third row down will be the 3-digit color code for the interior. The dash cap and center console is a darker contrast color keyed to the primary interior trim color - the W208's were done that way. The charcoal interior is all the same.
For reference, you'll see your paint color code 3 columns over, 2nd row down (to the right of your model/engine combination i.e., 208xxx - the last three digits denote what engine yours is built with) it's practically in the center of the metal tag.
