New blower regulator, leads too short, so what's the correct part #, need help?
2000, 430CLK Cabriolet.
Have received, twice, regulators ordered over the net. Seem to have diff. part #, but look to be identical parts. Both have the lead 2 inches too short--bend the blade connector from the blower, when installed. Original part has 8" lead, new have 6" lead.
Some questions:
1. What is the correct part# ?
2. Anyone encountered this "short lead" prob. re. this part, before, and
3. ...if yes, then what is the solution ?
4. Can I just transfer the old leads to the new unit, and move on with my life, or will my vehicle blow up ?
