about camber kit, just came from tire shop...
sup guys, well i went to big brand tire center to see if i could get my clk aligned because after i lowered it, the inside of tires seems to wear prematurely. guy said i def. need camber kit. he is charging me 60 per axl on labor. and 30 for each camber/alx. so im looking at
labor 60x4=$240
parts30x4=$120.
alignment=$60.
so 420 total. does this seem reasonable?? and the name brand is NOT kmac. he mentioned the brand but im guessin its generic cause ive never heard of it. let me know if this sounds about rite. or do you think i should get the kmac and just pay for install?

Sounds like a cheap price on the parts. I just bought a K-MAC kit and I paid $235 for it and thats just the front. You usually get what you pay for so my guess is that the kit is aftermarket (lets hope its not made in Taiwan!) and it may not get the camber settings fully back to stock, although I am sure it will be better than not fixing the problem and chewing through tires. May I ask which shop is doing the work? I need to take my CLK in soon to get my camber kit installed.
