It could be the motor... mine is acting up and there are a couple of threads of diff people with the same issue. At least yours is the passenger side... mine (and others) are the driver side motor...

It definitely the motor if you pull back the switch, you hear click but the motor doesn’t move. I got this problem before.

For now just use a small screw driver, gentle knock on the motor under seat try to pull the button you will probably have chance to pull it back the old way. But you need to change the motor soon.

Good luck with that

s.f.clk02 Were you able to resolve the issue with the seat? If so what did you do. I'm having the same freaking problems.

It could be... in my case it was the motor and it would never work, ever. But you could hear it "clicking" when you pressed the button.

It's weird that the switch would go bad though... does it work up/down? Because mine would move up/down, and it would "click" when going back/forward but the seat wouldn't move.

Haven't had any problems since I replaced the motor though.
