a/c problem

I have seen a few posts about a/c problems....unfortunately mine gave out this year and was wondering if anyone can tell me what the numbers from REST button mean:

You only need to worry about# 1 through 7 for the a/c

Run this test:

Assuming you obtained those numbers with the engine and a/c turned on, I can tell you right off the bat that you are low on refrigerant. You're showing a "1". After I refilled the freon, I'm getting numbers that fluctuate between 14 & 16.
Also, your ambient temps are out of wack. I'm in Park Ridge and althogh it's been hot here....it aint' that hot. Try a new reading today now that it's cooler.

thanks for your reply...I too live in Park Ridge.....the time I took those readings was when I was stopped at a light when the temp was like 96 in chicago and was raining so had to defrost the windows...was like a suana...anyway, I will check it out the next couple of days.

You're out of refrigerant. Probably have a leak somewhere... if it was 96° everything else seems to be fine.

I changed my evap sensor this weekend and refilled and sure enough everything was fine... sensor 7 was reading 15 bars. Then I checked that night and it was down to 9, then the following day down to 4, so I have a leak too.

Fun fun fun...
