water pump problem, v-belt snapped, need new idler pulley

I just got back from a local mechanic and he told me the water pump is loose and may lock up, and that my idler pulley is too lose and that it needs to be replaced. I also need a serpentine belt which snapped because of that, and tensioner pulley and belt.. I wanted to know if any experienced people or people that had it done, have any idea what kind of time it'll take. I want to know what to expect with labor time, and the price on the parts. Anyone in south florida, let me know if you have the tools to fix it, along with the knowledge.. I know this is a pretty popular issue and i wanted to find out feedback from others who had the repair. I appreciate it.. thanks.
