Coilovers will never work on our cars because we have a spring and shock set up. You would have to completely tear out and re-do the entire suspension set up that Mercedes made and make your own or retrofit an existing set up from another car.

The only coil overs that i know that will work are the KW 2 which Ahmad has them on the 55, but for what i understand they're not true coil overs maybe Ahmad could fill you in better than i do.

The main thing that I am trying to accomplish is adjustability. I dont want to be stuck on one setting in case I change rims. Thanks for the info!!

Yea I have the KW v.2's and they arent true coilovers but in my opinin the best setup for a W208 CLK. It is height and dampening adjustable. EASY to adjust dampening but in order to adjust the height you have to take the spring out You can slam the front to the ground but the rear doesnt go as low. I took my car to the track and adjusted it to full stiff and it was amazing. I HIGHLY recommend the KW v.2's

Yeah I just moved back to the states about 3 months ago and I am now in Georgia. I will be here for till Mid-December and then who knows where I will be!!

I do miss the hell out of the AUTOBAHN though....sometimes I forget and I start hitting the triple digits on the freeway and have to immediately slow down. I need to see some car shows or something while I am in the states abd I am trying to hook up my car as well!!

Oh yeah...the car did come with me!!

Yep, heard their pretty amazing and alot of Benz owners have been using them in other cars, I messaged one of the sponsors and they said KW2 would work fine with the car, and KW2s ARE so far the best coil overs to get, Tein on the other hand are not so good, heard lots of bad things about it and probably wouldnt recommend it. But if going the cheap route, I'd do what everybody else does, H&R + Bilstein shocks =

I will have to look at the KW's then. I hate asking this question BUT does or can anyone get a good deal on these? If so then can you PM me the contact info?

I was trying to buy the Kleemann shock set-up from a member earlier and I lost out on that deal so I cant just be happy with a normal set-up now. I wish I would have jumped on that Kleemann deal way earlier!!!!
