New mods - TV/DVD/Subs

My new mods, I'm not into sound system that much so they're not top of the line but good enough for me.

Sony XAV-7W 7" LCD
Panasonic CX-DVP292U DVD/MP3 Player
Preformant 800 Watt Amplifier
2 10" Alpine Type-S Subwoofers

looks good Bruce..... did you try squeezing those two wires on the side (with the 2 clear blinkers of some sort) behind the Airconditioning control panel. I believe it can be done and it would make it look cleaner.

Did your shifter (or shift knob) come stock with your car?

thnx

The two blue lights are for the inteior which make the interior look blue, I'm planning on taking them off and put them somewhere else in the car. And yes, my shiftnob came with the car. Thanks

Bruce that setup looks HOT.

How hard was it to install an aftermarket system in our clk's?

Are you useing the same speakers in the doors? U just added the 2 subs' in the trunk and changed your headunit?

Thanks man.

P.S My C coupe has that same shift knob ,but since I got leather, instead of the shiny rear part, it has leather insert.

I like the plastic piece better!

Thanks mang, it's not hard to install an aftermarket headunit onto our CLKs, just have it professionally done. I'm using stock speakers and aftermakret subs and amps, sounds great.

I'm thinking of putting them somewhere else so the floor mats will look blue, but I don't have any pix of them on at night. I bought them at 99 Ranch Market in Irvine, there's a lil store when you walk in.

Yeah, they are my sound sponsor for my Eclipse Spyder. They do very clean installations. In the future, if you want anything, let me know, I can hook you up with a good deal. They are currently working on my showcar (80K sound/multimedia/fully motorized system), so they are very capable.

1450 is a great deal though.

Can you give me the address? I wanna check it out sometimes. Should I say your name when I go?

You're asking the wrong person but that sounds nice (??), but get a 10 disc CD changer compatible with mp3 too.

Def. get a cd changer... and throw in an AMP while you are at it.... self powered units will never sound the same compared to a good amp... and you'll see a huge difference once you change the speakers too.

good deal looks good

Pretty cool Bruce.... How does the stereo sound? The box looks a little small for the speakers, but I'm sure is still sounds much better than stock!! I like the tv-stereo install very clean, but I'm not sure about the little blue lights.... I'd move them away from the dash like you were saying you're gonna do.

It sound pretty good, the blue lights actually look really cool at night when you turn them on, it makes the whole interior blue, but I don't use it that much so I'm thinking of putting them at a different place.

CiLKY 10-21-2002 02:32 PM

cool, you should take a picture with the lights on so we can see....

It would be cool to move them to a "stealth" location like the air vents or the factory dome lights....
