I am adding a cd changer to my 2002 clk cabriolet. I found the cable end in the trunk where it's supposed to be, Cd changer didn't work. When I traced the two orange fiber optic cable, I found out that they are cut and I can't find the other cables where they go to the inside. My question is where do they go. Do they go straight to the head unit or they go somewhere in the middle to another component. I found a place online MBdoctor.com that sells 8 foot D2B optic cable and I wanted to know where to hook the other end in advance instead of taking everything apart trying to find out where it goes. Thanks.

Mine goes into the head unit. I replaced my head unit (stock with stock) recently and couldn't get my cd changer to work until I fished that orange wire out of the spaghetti and connected it.
