how do i clean out the maf sensor???

clk 430
how do i clean out the maf sensor???

first of all what the h*ll is a "maf" lol. .. my clk 430 seems to be losing power and what not i think its the maf from what ive been reading any body know how to clean it out? thanks!

I'm pretty sure they are located in your exhaust. I don't think you can clean them out. They are pretty easy to swap out and cost about $60-$70. Maybe cheaper..

The air filter cover connects to the MAF on the top part of the engine. Just go to Autozone and buy a can of MAF sensor cleaner and follow the instructions from PANCHO. It made a huge difference in my car when I cleaned it out. Its worth a try and only costs a couple bucks.

It's def. not located in the exhaust & it's not a $60-$70 part.

MAF is a Mass Airflow Sensor/Meter. It's located at the back of the airbox/engine close to the firewall. Have it cleaned first. It's quite pricey to replace. Around $300 +/-

allright so I was completely wrong..don't take advice from me.. I haven't had my clk in a couple years.
