The clk has 4 front lights (excluding the fogs). My question is if they both take the same type of bulb? I believe it is a H7. Does anybody know? Thanks.

 

Yes they are all the same - H7s (high beam and low beam).

 

Yes, both high and low beams are H7s

But there are 2 more bulbs in those housings. in with the low beams are the side blinkers using 1156 bulbs. in with the high beams are small parking lights, which are pretty much custom for benz (i think)... its a 6W bulb

 

Are you thinking about buying HID bulbs? I bought some PIAA about 1 year ago and while they look white (psuedo-xenonish), they're not nearly as bright as geniune xenons. The PIAAs are supposed to last longer than all the other HIDs (my bro in law has some other brand on his BMW and they burn out after 6 months), about 1-2 years. The PIAAs costs about $100-120. They look ok, but in retrospect, they really didn't create the effect that I was hoping for.

 

City light should be M17 and rear license plate bulb should be M28, forgot what brand. Headlight is H7, foglight is H1. I've changed all the bulbs.
