Fuel-indicator problems
I have a CLK 230 K -00. The fuel-indicator is showing empty tank when i start the car... After a few minutes it goes up to full even though I have 50% fuel in the tank.
Is there anyone who know what to do ?? Is it expensive to fix ??
Please help...

Thanks for the help...
I will contact my service station and hope that they will help me.
I live in Sweden and I imported the car from Germany so I hope that the European warranty covers the problem.
I´ll post a reply after contacting the service station.
Tnx again...
Best regards Janus, Sweden

Had this same problem. It's caused by the sensors in the fuel tank. It happened to me every winter. I was told that the winter fuel additives corrode the fuel sensor. Miy gauge would not move off empty until I used up a gallon or so. They have to replace both fuel sensors (there are two of them) which is accesed under the back seat.
