oil sensor light
I assume this is some sensor in the oil pan that will be costly to repair?
Anyone have this issue?

. I would pull to the side with the engine running (with this warning on) and noticed so noises whatsoever (such as valvetrain noise if oil pressure wasn't normal).I would also get the perform service on time! warnings even though there were a lot of miles to go per the FSS.
Dealer replaced sensor under warranty and all was fine going forward - this was an issued on the the early 2000's W208s - I remember seeing posts on this board that addressed that.
I think the sensor is threaded into the oil pan or lower block - others might be able to share their experiences if they replaced it themselves.
Some folks may have access to the MB WIS system that details the exact procedure as well.
