BAS/ESP Problem-Car starts only when ECU disconnected

My car went in for some bodywork and the shop removed the ECUs. Car wouldnt start, wouldnt come out of park until they disconnected a green wire going to the BAS/ESP ECU.

Anyone have similar problem where they had to bypass the BAS/ESP ECU?

Im going to get a new stop lamp switch and report back

thanks,
Jim

replaced the tail lamp switch, but tail lights wont illuminate when brake pedal depressed. Also the car still wont start when the BAS/ESP ecu is connected

Im thinking it might an issue w the brake booster connections when that was removed.

Any tips appreciated why my car wont start w the BAS/ESP ECU plugged in
