Options Question

Unfortunately for me my car did not come with heated seats or the headlamp washer, I was wondering if its possible to install these options and if there is an after market company that sells the parts for relatively cheap. If you have any advice at all let me know. Thanks.

Anything can be done for a price....though it would probably be cheaper for you to sell your car and buy one with the options you want. I dont think the seats come prewired with the heating elements, so you would have to buy new seats ($$$). plus fif you wanted a factory look, you would have to buy factory switches and console wood with the proper cut outs (the wood pieces can be ridiculously expensive), plus the interior would need to be wired...etc... it would all add up....and probably isnt worth it.

You could buy the heated seats on Ebay from 500 on up but he is right about having to buy the new wood panels plus the switches just to get that OEM look. I wanted to do this as well but decided it just wasnt worth the price and work just for heated seats.

I live in the SOUTH so maybe thats why its not worth it for me!! If you are in the North...GET EM!!

If you're going to do it, do it right, with the switches and wood panel changed on the dash. SteveNL does this kind of stuff for a living. But the other poster was right: if you're not attached to your particular car it probably makes more sense to trade up to a loaded 430 or 55.

Steve recently put in the power sunshade, antitheft systems, linguatronic and power folding side mirrors on my baby. I'm loving it. These mods are not particularly cheap, but neither are braces on an adolescent. The end result is the same: a perfect smile that pushes ALL the right buttons.

factory seats do come hardwired for heated seats contact Steve @ http://www.mbenznl.com
I believe if you buy the heated seats he also gives you a new matchin wood piece with upgraded buttons so that is a big plus!
