scratches on the driver's side window

scratches on the driver's side window
Hi all,
Somehow there were little rocks (sand?) trapped in the horizontal rubber thing on my driver's side window. As a result when I lowered my window I heard the scratching sound and what do you know, my driver's side window has fine little scratches that run from top to bottom. Is there anyway to remove them or do I need a new window? Thanx.
