will these fit?
i have the opportunity to buy a set of amg wheels and tires for what i think is a good price. the tires that are on them rims are pretty wide i think and im not sure if they will fit. the fronts are 225/45/17's and the rears are 245/40/17's. are they too wide? will the fronts rub at full lock? my car is a stock '01 clk 320.

but those arent the set im getting. what do you think is a good price with tires? also, will the speedo have to be recalibrated and how do i do that? thanks in advance.

they will fit perfectly on your car. Don't worry about the speedometer.....the sizes you just listed are the stock sizes that come on the W208 CLK55.
