can I fit 20inch rims to my clk?
Stick with these specs and you should be fine:
Eibach or H&R Lowering springs
#3 pad for the front
#2 pad for the rear
20x8.5 - et 32mm to 38mm for the front
20x10 or 9.5 - et 35mm to 40mm for the rears
225/35/20 and 225/30/20 or 235/30/20 for front tires
245/30/20 and 255/30/20 or 285/25/20 for rear tires
If you stay within the realm of these specs you will be fine but if you decide to go aggressive with the wheel offsets or drop you will need fender rolling all around.
I personally have right now:
20x8.5 - et 35mm with 225/35/20 with #3 pads in front
20x10 - et 40mm with a 20mm hubcentric spacer and 255/30/20 with #2 pads in back. So theoretically I have an et of 20mm in back but I have done extensive mods to make this work and I still rub a little but the look is sick and aggressive and I don't care if I rub right now because I'm usually alone in my car. It rubs when I take a serious turn or when my car has got an extra 2 people in it but not with 1 extra passenger.
My signature pic is a very recent look of my car with the current specs I mentioned. If I didn't have a body kit and additional front lip added to my Brabus front bumper the car might look a little taller than I want. I did have it slammed before but if you go that route you will need the very low profile tires I mentioned ( 225/30/20 or 235/30/20 and 245/30/20 or 285/25/20 ). I hope this helps.

No fender mods/rolling needed with H&R Sport Cup Kit with this setup.
Pirelli P-Zero Nero 225/30/20
Pirelli P-Zero Nero 255/30/20
Front ET38 8.5j #5 pad
Rear ET32 10j #3 pad
If I go 235 front and 265 rear I will need the fenders rolled.
I may need the rear fenders rolled if I go with a #2 Pad which I may try to do in a few weeks.
