need help fitting my wheels
hi guys i've just bought a set of brabus monoblock V 2-piece rims there 19" and 8.5 wide, i knew i shouldnt have any problems getting them on my car the person who sold them to me sold them with their tires and there brand new so i dont want to lose them the only problem is they wont fit into my car the wheels r 245/35/r19 and i guess they should fit but theres something that i have to do for them to fit
my problem is there is a screw hanging from the sway bar that is touching the wheel and i am sure the tire will tear apart if i drive with it touching the tire so i used 12.5mm spacers they keep the wheel away from it but now my tires r touching when i turn the wheel so could any one help me out on this
i've tried more then one car shop and tire places no one had a solution for me

I think the tire size might be your problem. We typically use 235 35 19 here. Is your car lowered? If it's not, this shouldn't be a problem. If it's lowered, you'll have to decide what spacers give you the best clearance from the bolt and also provide the least rubbing until you buy new tires...maybe you can put it w/ it for a while to not spend $275 a tire?

you probably have the incorrect offset. What model mercedes did the previous owner have them on?
If they came off a W202, W203, W210, or W208, they should bolt right on without any problem.
judging by the size of the tires, it's probably safe to assume that they came off an S-class, or something similar.

yes. if the rim is touching the inside of the car, then the spacer will "push" the rim away from the inside. Depending on how much it is "touching" will determine how thick of a spacer you need to use.....5mm, 10mm, 15mm, etc etc.
