My friend used racing gas for his E55 before, $5/gallon I think.

So, is it okay to use over 100 octane gas without changing fuel setting?

S600 Coupe. 560SEC, E55
Careful here guys. The fuel in Europe is rated under a different formula than we use here which is R+M divided by 2. I would get better advice before running Citgo 104 or some similar racing Fuel

Used to be a CLK430
This brings up a good point ~ does it matter if you stay consistent with the brand of gas you put in your baby??

Now this isn't a fair comparison, but in my 2 Chevrolet vehicles prior to my Benz, I stayed with Shell b/c if I used something else they would knock like crazy...

I found a 76 that sells 100-octane gas, now, the question is is it safe to use that type of gas in my CLK320?

Sunoco only...the only place I can get 94 octane (can't find any higher) in the NoVa area.
