Alright , so im looking for a clk 320 , before buying it I would like to know what are the main problems with CLKs and what should I look for when trying the car. The one im looking to get has 220 000 km 1998 . thank u!!!

The camshaft position sensor is known to fail, but it's a cheap part and a simple DIY.

Pixels in the cluster will usually burn out.

Passenger seat will sometimes be in lock position and the seat won't move forward or backwards, usually it's a fuse that will solve the problem.

Cataylic converters might have to be replaced.

MAF is very common to fail.

That's about all I can think of for now. This car has always been reliable, atleast in my experience.

I concur with everyone the listed problems are the most common with this car.

engine and transmission mounts...probably most expensive parts tht cause problems at about 80-100k

The mounts aren't expensive. My drivers side motor mount went out at 79k miles, it cost me $86 for the part.
