I purchased my 99 CLK320 5 years ago. At that time it had about 50k miles, now five years later it has 125k. During these five years and 75k miles, I have done nothing major to the car. I had to replace some sensors like air-mass and Crankshaft but nothing major.
I am wondering if there are any standard service replacements that have to be performed at the 100k and after period. I have noticed no problems with the car
, I just want to make sure that I have not missed something critical in terms of preventive care.
Also if you could suggest a good mechanic in the greater New Haven, CT area I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
GrChris

Keep up all your regular service as listed in your owners manual.
Thanks. Unfortunately I have lost the manual but I would definitely try to get a new one. In the meantime any suggestions on major necessary services you know from the top of your head.
Thanks again,

At 100K miles, you'll need plugs. Originally Posted by GrChris

LOTS of things to check....
Fluids - Brake, coolant, tranny, diff, oil
Filters - change them all - pollen, air, cabin, etc.
Call 1-800-FOR-MERC to order a new manual.
MBWorld Fanatic!
your plugs should have been changed at around 90-100K as well.
