that seem right?
i just talked to the dude on the phone.. and he was like you want it done cheap or you want it done right..

everyone else is saying like 40-60 seems like i'm gonna get pwned by this dude.

120!!!! HELL NO!!!! This dude is trying to get you!!! Find someone else!! I hate when people try and take advantage of someone. 60 at the most !!
There is no cheap about it...you just cut the original one off and unhook it from the hanger, then hang the new on the hangers and weld it onto the pipe. You might need grind here or there but a good muffler shop should be ablt to do this quick.

well maybe he was thinking it was a full exhaust system so its just a muffler? ill call back later and tell him its just a muffler.
i'm going to new york tommorow so i aint gonna get this biatch installed till i get back..

imphaded ...I think this guy is under the impression
that you need a full exhaust install when its just a a cut and bolt install. Line it up, cut the OEM off and bolt together using the sleeve...DONE. Think I paid like 50-75 bucks tops.

He is trying to jack you on price but he does make a good point. Most Midas shops have people that weld like they're using candle wax instead of a welding stick. Sloppy half-assed welds! If you care about looks and doing it right, it does pay to find someone who can weld worth a damn and trim the pipe to fit with tight tolerances for the weld. Most people could care less and don't mind a sloppy weld as they don't have a show car.

on that, i dint have a show car yet i still care about the way my car looks and drives even the parts you dont see get cleaned on my car. yet there is know way it should coast more than 100 at the most expensive shop. if you want ill give you the number to the place that installed mine.

Note that I did say the guy was trying to jack him on price. Agree fully that more than $100 is way too much. If you've ever had it cut and file an exhaust down to mate almost perfectly to another pipe and make a tight, penetrating weld which is then angle grinded to look clean, you'd know how much time and effort is required to make it look nice. It can take hours. Appreciate the offer for the number. My ride is still being repaired after I was rear ended. Been in the shop now for almost 2 months

sorry to hear that the eisenmann however slips over the the old one as the piping is larger on the eisenmann. yeah my bro's 745 has been in the shop over a month after soon *** made aleft in front of him. hope your car will be back home soon.
