painted bumper?

hi guys i have a silver 99 clk 320.has any one painted the black parts of the stock bumpers.i am thinking to paint them.would it look ugly?any pics/info appreciated.thanks in advance

hmm good thought i painted the side molding on my black clk cuz they were gray.....good luck with your project
