Tires

I had an unfortunate accident with a curb and my right front tire blew up. I have Contis on my car right now with about 13000 miles on them. I think this is a perfect excuse for me to change all four tires. I just cant make up my mind between Rossos and S03's. Anybody has any recommendations? I know for sure that I'm not going with Contis again. They suck. THA

I hear the S03's are great

I have the Rossos now and will get the S03's as soon as these wear out. These are good but I hear the S03's have better durability and better handling capability than the Rossos. I also hear that they are a bit better in inclimate weather than the Rossos.

I have the Rosso's right now and will be getting the S03's sometime this week. The Rosso's are good daily driving tires that dont make much noise but I want more grip and a better wet tire too. The Rosso's wore out very quickly for me and this might be due to the power of my car and my heavy foot

I just ordered a set of SO3s in 265/30/19 and 135/35/19. I tried to find them in California for immediate delivery but had no luck. I was even willing to pay an impatience premium. I ended up ordering them from Tirerack for $999. Delivery will be in about 30 days which means I'll be looking at my tireless LM's for a month. I've never tried the SO3s, however, from what I've been told, they are worth the wait.

18s not 19s

maybe it's just me but 17s look small, 18's look perfect, 19's look absurd (too big for this size car)

am I the only one that thinks this?

I guess I could be wrong becuase a lot of you like 19s....

shell
still pissed the E55 gets 18s and 275 in the rear and his clk55 comes with 17s

Thanx for the responces. One more q. Can I put 235's and 255's on stock 430 wheels? They have 225 and 245 right now. Will this benefit the handling? Thanx

I agree with BodyArt. 17`s look too small (especially with the pogo stick stance), 18'`s look perfect (that`s why I just received my 18" Monoblocks & S03`s from Tirerack today), and 19`s look ABSURD. They look like big frying pans...some of them..cheesy.

18" Monoblock`s (going on thursday)
H&R`s (going on wednesday)
Koni`s (going on wednesday)
