i have a 2003 clk coupe and its showing on the screen malfunction

tail lamp,right
substitube lamp on!

i checked the owners manual and it says visit mb as soon as possible
but for the other time for brake lights it just tells you to replace the bulb. why does it say visit mb for this light? whick light is this exactly?

Wouldn't it be easier to just go and check which one it is than posting the question on a forum?

cause it says the subsitute is on. im not quite sure how i would be able to tell if theres another one on and is working properly

Count and see which one is ON and different from side to side. Can't be that cold outside.

i have the same message on my screen.but none of the lights are out,and it doesn't come on all the time.very frustrating. also a 2003 clk500. seems like the message comes on when its wet out or raining. i'm wondering if there is a short somewhere.i'll be calling the dealer tomorrow since its still under warranty.
