Garage Temporarily Empty
Although I think the pics came out great, it's your car that makes the photos look so fantastic.
That car is pristine.....

Wow. CLKFAN, this photoshoot has opened my eyes to your car, wide open. The recent mods youve made are perfect and I feel like it owns its identity with the lil red touches etc... It looks complete. I love it. Past be the past, bygones etc... Your car is gorgeous. Well done. *golf clap*

Thanks for the kind words.

Here is the best explanation I can give you without making you dizzy from all the things I have done.

Suspension - Shaetz Springs with no pads = zero
- Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks

Wheels - 19x8.5 et25 19x9.5 et15

Tires - 225/35/19 & 235/35/19

Fenders/Arches - rolled to accommodate bigger and wider wheels from before so my aggressive offsets fit with no problem.

Happy owner of '98 CLK 320
hehe, i knicked one of the pics and use it as a desktop wallpaper here at work. I havent gotten around to taking any pics of my own car yet, and its dirty as hell, and has no mods whatsoever, so yours will do for now.
And besides, you set a good benchmark to match one day

I had 10mm up front and a 30mm in back.

The reason why I run spacers is because no wheel ever fits nice and flush on my car to the fenders because my fenders are rolled out really far.

are those BBS LM's? those are the same rims im planning to put on my silver 320. that hypersilver color looks immaculate on black, maybe a darker color for silver. beautiful clk, definitely a favorite since all of the clk's w208's i've seen. nice work bro.

Question

Very nice looking car.
Do you have any problems with squeaking being as you have no pads?

I want to get the Schaetz springs as well, but am having problems finding them for the CLK55. Do you think that the ones for the CLK430 would be ok?

I have no squeaking and the ones for the 430 should be fine. But you should ask the seller of the springs first.

I have a Brabus single in and dual out muffler that is split to a quad set up with Brabus muffler tips that I had sent to me from Brabus through F1 Motorsports.
