Help!! Codes P0171 And P0173 Pulled

My Cel Has Been Going On And Off For Awhile Now
And I Just Got The Codes Pulled Today

I Read That It Could Be My O2 Sensor
A Fuel Trim Malfunction?

But Ultimately A Maf Sensor.

How Do You Put In The 02 Sensor

The Maf Takes Seconds To Put In But The 02 Sensor????

Start by cleaning your MAF (Pep Boys has MAF cleaner). Do it a couple of times, then reinstall. If that doesn't work, then I think the MAF will need to be replaced. These are both fuel trim errors, which indicate the MAF.

I think you would have gotten another code if the O2 sensors were bad (I did - P0140-something if I recall). Regarding replacing O2 sensors, supposedly they screw in like spark plugs (although I haven't tried myself; I paid the dealer an hour of labor to do it since I was too lazy to find the part elsewhere).

If you can't reset the codes with a code reader that you have on hand, disconnect the battery for a minute. Note that either way it will likely take a couple of days to know if the CEL will turn back on.

2007 SL55
could also be some kind of vacuum leak...check all the clamps around your air box and all other piping to your engine...then get the code erased with OBDII and see if it comes back up...
