Angry Hit By Ford

So as i was driving yesterday i got nailed by a 18yo in a ford explorer. when i merged into the center lane on a fairly large street the guy in the explorer realized his lane turned into a turn lane and started to veer into my lane when he realized i was already there he over corrected spun hit the passenger door, rolled his top heavy piece and i ended up three wheels on the grass the wrong direction. the CLK's pretty bad passenger door rear quarter trashed. front clip in about 15 pieces fogs hanging on by there cords and the left rear tire that slammed the curb is a cocked. the hood no longer sit flat either. i fear it may be a total loss. i only had her for 5 months. sigh. on the plus side like every crash post ive read on this forum i walked away with out a scratch as did my buddy riding shot gun. the driver of the exploder who was driving with his window open (it was 30 degrees out so you know hes a idiot) had some serious road rash on his left arm and a gash on his head, he got put on a stretcher and takin to the hospital. the investigation concluded because he was an 18 yo male and im a 19yo male we must have been racing and were each giving 20 point tickets 12 contest of speed and 8 wreck less. im fighting the racing part i mean if he were in a audi or a bimmer or some stupid rice burner yeah we prob would have been racing but a ford?!? im honestly convinced that if it had been to middle aged ladies in the same situation they would have immediately thought they were racing. i fear the worse but was wondering what you all thought i really have know idea what i would cost or even if the frames bent. ill put up picks next time i see her but for now its just to painful.

I would most definitely "Fight the Power". Using your age as reasoning to what you must have been doing is stupid. Who in their right mind driving a CLK would engage in a race with a Ford? You need to explain that too them with a good cross comparison that they could relate too. Good luck

+1 +1 +1 Enough said.

I too would definitely fight the fact that they used age as a factor for things. That is the lamest thing I've heard. I personally wouldn't let that be left at what it was. The good thing is, you came out fine. Good luck with all that.

im still waiting on the inusrance company

to tell me if there going to total the car if they do i might part it out just to pay the bank back their interest but if its fixable im gunna have it fixed i looked for a full year for this car right color location options and only got the joy of driving it for 5 months. but what are you looking for parts wise with the exception of the smashed and dented body panels its in great shape

Sorry to hear about your ride, at least you live to see another day. If you part out, I got dibs on your front bumper.
