Grille Paint
I went to body shop today and asked to paint my chrome grille and the guy said that it is possible but the paint will be scrap off as time goes (chips, etc...)
He said that he must remove the chrome in order to apply the paint correctly....but I saw many cars here with nicely painted grille. Obviously, I am not a painter and I don't want to paint myself.
I would like to know if it will look same and same quality as my body color if I do it. I don't trust DEALER or OTHER PLACE except people at mbworld.org., because people here ACTUALLY did to their cars and have the experience.

the shop was telling you the truth. you do need to have the grill sanded down then painted. i havent done it myself, but from all the blacked out grill painted mb out there, its what usually was done....
