Help - front bumper cover cracked
The front bumper cover on my CLK cracked when parking I'm so sad. I know those bumpers are very expensive. Does anyone has fixed their cracked bumper at home? Is there a DIY? (I couldn't find any link, sorry).
If I take the bumper cover off what type of expoxy should I use? (Bondo or mightyputty?) I'm not good at body repairs so would appreciate any tips..Thanks

I just busted mine up today. I think I'm going to let the insurance cover it. It's way I pay all that damn money for the last 22 years.. about time I received some legitimate benefit from it.
Although... maybe I should forgo the factory part and get an aftermarket that looks nicer and costs less (probably A LOT less).
Wish I could find some good concise info... wading through the search results has been tiring.
With the amount of flex bondo will be a no-go and I'm not sure if even glass/resin repair would last very long...
