Strange issue with the car... sounds LOUDER, power loss....

Maybe it's the fact that I have to give it more gas to get it moving but it sounds louder..

There is noticeable power loss, the transmission doesn't shift as crisp, it's lagging on throttle response... Happened suddenly... the idle seems ok, everything else is the same.. no check engine light..

ANY IDEAS?

clk430 power loss

I had a 99 clk430 power loss all the suddent too.
It happend to me twice already. I just drove on my way to work and all the suddent the power shutdown. I restart the engine and the power came back on as normal.

Any ideas??? Any one have this power on their clk?

Sudden power loss with mine too, and sounds a lot louder.
However I have noticed that if i reverse sharply then put the car in drive, the power comes back for a while and all seems well.
I have had the maf replaced and the lambda sensors but now the diagnostic is showing air recirculation and secondary injection fault grrrrrrr!!!!!!
