Wiper going on itself?

Well.. this is the first problem with my 2000clk 430 in 6 months..

While warming up car the wiper went on itself...

I check to see if it was on automatic wiping ( II ) and it wasnt..

Now its going on and off sometimes.. what the hell?

any help would be nice... i wonder how much this will cost to fix..

Current: AMG GT-C. Sold: 01 CLK55, 00 ML55, 01 ML55, 06 E55

there should be 3 settings if i remember correctly. a) off b) auto c) steady on. the middle position is auto. just in case you're mixed up with which position it is?

I know the three settings though..

0 I II III

I have it on 0 and it goes on sometimes, how the hell would this be fixed?

to tell you the truth.. I dont know. I used to have an s500 that did the same. Couldnt figure it out. It also had retractable seat belst that came out of the side right to your hand when you shut the door so you didnt have to reach back. they started coming out and going back while i was driving. thats when i decided its gotta go becasue i hate electical issues, always some stupid sensor that you have to change 4 or 5 them before you actually find the one.
